Welcome

Thank you for choosing ZAHN Studio to grow your artistic skills. We focus on introducing you to a variety of art mediums and guiding you as you explore them. This creative journey will help you master new techniques and develop your own unique artistic style.

There are 9 classes per school term. Workshops are held during the school holidays.

No previous painting experience is required. I will teach you everything step by step, and you are welcome to work in your preferred medium, including acrylics, oils, watercolours, pastels, and more.

How do the classes work?

• There are 9 classes per term, in line with the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) school calendar.

• Each class is 2.5 hours long.

• If you are unable to attend your scheduled class, you may attend a make-up class during another class time.

Please note: Make-up classes are subject to availability in other classes. If no suitable space is available, the missed class will unfortunately be forfeited.

If unforeseen circumstances arise and your class cannot take place, it will be rescheduled.

Please ensure that you are in the correct WhatsApp group to receive important information and schedule updates.
Notice to be given term in advance.

 

Class Times

• Monday (PM): 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm

• Tuesday (AM): 9:30 am – 12:00 pm

• Thursday (AM): 9:30 am – 12:00 pm

• Thursday (PM): 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm
   

Fees

• Monthly (paid in advance): R882 per month (× 3 months per term)

• Per Term: R2,646

An invoice will be emailed on the first day of each month. Please make payment upon receipt of the invoice.

Your account must be settled by the end of each term. If payment is outstanding, you will not be able to attend classes until your account is up to date.

Optional Extra: Starter Pack for New Students

The Starter Pack costs R1,450.

Purchasing it is optional. However, if you don't already have your own paints and basic art supplies, you will need the Starter Pack to take part in the classes.

If you'd like to paint on a larger canvas or choose a different subject, you're welcome to discuss it with me. Together we can ensure the subject is suitable for your skill level while helping you learn the techniques you'd like to develop.

This makes it clear that the Starter Pack is only necessary for students who don't already own the required materials, rather than implying everyone will eventually need it.
